months of showing up when nobody was watching led to this moment
topped the leaderboard and won a Ledger
638 players, quizzes, replies, putting in the effort every single day without knowing if it would amount to anything and it led to this
i’ve been part of communities that felt transactional show up post disappear nabulines never felt like that to me it felt like a room full of people who actually gave a damn about getting better
@nabulines built something rare here
a community where knowledge is the currency and the ones who genuinely care always rise
grateful to every real one in this community who made the competition worth winning and to @nabu_lines for building the kind of place that makes you want to show up every single day
a Ledger earned the right way hits different

nabu@nabu_lines

🇬🇲🇬🇲: National Youth President of the National People’s Party (NPP), Momodou Sabally, has launched a sharp political attack on Kanifing Mayor and UMC leader Talib Ahmed Bensouda, rejecting his recent remarks and escalating tensions in Gambian opposition politics. Sabally disputed Bensouda’s account of his temporary exit from politics after the 2021 presidential election, insisting that the mayor stepped back due to internal pressure within the opposition following the defeat. He also challenged claims that UDP leader Ousainu Darboe played a role in convincing Bensouda to return to active politics, arguing instead that Bensouda only re-emerged when political conditions changed after the 2022 National Assembly elections.
According to Sabally, Darboe “never convinced him to come back” and that Bensouda simply “sat out and watched.” He further alleged that Bensouda’s return contributed to internal tensions within the UDP, including disputes over influence, leadership direction, congress activities in Janjanbureh, and flagbearer discussions, which he described as moments that exposed divisions within the party (though these claims remain unverified). This exchange reflects the ongoing fragmentation and personal rivalries in The Gambia’s opposition landscape.
