The far right try to claim our flags but in truth hate our country. They despise what makes the rest of us proud & makes us British, from the NHS to our BBC. They peddle anti-British propaganda globally. Thousands may march today but millions more stand against hate & for Britain

I’ll always champion peaceful protest. But the Unite the Kingdom march organisers are peddling hatred and division. We’ve already blocked visas for far-right agitators who want to come here to spew their extremist views. They don't speak for the decent, fair, respectful Britain I know.

I do think it says a lot about this country that the SDP, the only party which gives a damn about actually thinking through and developing a structural analysis of the problems facing this country and ironing out the details of serious policy, still doesn't crack 1% in polls.

Is it just me but suddenly everything feels …. normal ? No more psycho dramas and scandals. Like the grown ups are back in Govt & people can get on with their lives watching politics out the corner of their eyes. Safe
