I fucking hate the “minimum wage is for high schoolers” talking point.
A. No it isn’t, that’s historically inaccurate.
B. Telling a kid to work hard and earn money the “right” way, then turning around and saying he deserves less just because of his age is bullshit.
Pay should be based on performance. Nothing else.
If you’re against raising the minimum wage, that’s fine. Make a better argument that isn’t belittling kids trying to work hard and earn something for themselves.

My family arrived in Virginia 400 years ago, nearly 150 years before the Revolutionary War was won and the founding documents signed.
They tamed the wilds alongside their people, formerly the English and then the Americans, and created the greatest nation the world has ever seen.
There is nothing you can say or argue that will change this fact. Americans are a people with a history and whatever garbage you think negates that is just genocidal rhetoric meant to erase any memory of who we are and what we were.
But we aren't going to let you forget. We might not even let you live by the time this is over. You'd be smart to quit before we arrive at that point.

NEW: An illegal immigrant from Mexico is accused of kidnapping and sodomizing a girl who was under the age of 12 in Lexington, Kentucky. Jorge Luis Martinez-Ulloa came illegally in 2012 (under Obama) & was supposed to leave the country through "voluntary departure," per @ICEgov. He never left. He then victimized the young child Saturday, grabbing her by the arm and neck, trapping her in his apartment, and raping her, according to local reports. The young child didn't know Martinez-Ulloa. She was later hospitalized for her injuries. Martinez-Ulloa is charged with kidnapping of a minor, first-degree strangulation, two counts of first-degree rape involving a victim under 12, two counts of first-degree sodomy involving a victim under 12, and two counts of sexual abuse of a victim under 12.
