@AngryFroggo I think it is. Watching the movie is the absolute minimum you can do to engage with the medium to enjoy and understand it. With games, it's playing the game. The only exceptions would be games that are practically barely distinguishable from movies, like graphic novels.

You’re a Resident Evil fan if you’ve atleast watched most of the games There’s nothing wrong with enjoying it this way. Maybe you want to see how the game plays before committing to buying or just don’t have the necessary hardware. Either way RE characters and lore are rich enough for viewers to want to engage in it. A lot of people start out this way and it should never be seen as a bad thing 👍
