@grassrootsag Do you have a picture of the mixing job it does? Currently Plozza ploughing to a depth of 300mm but trafficabilty and mixing at depth are not amazing.

Lime spreading & incorporation in full swing with areas of favourable moisture. Lime rates calculated using CEC & target pH following 5cm segmented soil testing. An expensive process but proven to reduce stratification & lift yields. Horsch Tiger mixing lime to 230-250mm depth.

@AngusPadfield @ipaddockapps We tried 3 different approaches last year, 2l tref, 1L tref + 2.5l pros, 1L tref + 1.25l pros then PSPE 1.25l pros all worked well. Yeh have had both issues. Now we seed it straight after a rain try and get it up before the next one and the wet soil holds a better furrow.

Hopefully this technology update doesn't void the original manufacturer warranty! See if we can't drag one way plows kicking and screaming into the 21st century #plozzaplow

@MioliniMitchell @ipaddockapps Yeah okay, we have been advised to use low rates of tref only then come back with prosulforcarb later if required. Have you had any issues with furrow fill with heavy wind or rain?

@AngusPadfield @ipaddockapps All our Plozza country goes to cereals first year. Full rate of tref/boxer gold but we drop our metribuzin/Diuron rates back.

@ipaddockapps Was this sown to a proper crop or just cover? If a crop what type and what pre-ems did you go with? We have a paddock we just finished ploughing for acidity and a little bit worried about crop safety of pre-ems
