“In Tibetan, authentic presence is ‘Wangthang(དབང་ཐང་།)’, which literally means, 'field of power'. The cause or the virtue that brings about authentic presence is emptying out and letting go. You have to be without clinging.” - Chogyam Trungpa

@wasteyavvaralu I get that it isnt a faithful translation, but I always found interesting, if you remove the self, all that is suffering is life it self. Also, desire being the root of suffering is also a common mistranslation right? Craving is a better word?

"Life is suffering" is literally wrong translation and misinterpretation of Buddhist doctrine by Schopenhuer school of Nhilists. What The Buddha actually said was "There's suffering in life, you can deal with it by following my Noble 8-fold path".
luis barahona@LuisBaraho50565

@Notyourwaifu87 @wasteyavvaralu It still sounds pretty anti-life. Life is suffering and you will keep incarnating forever, which will mean more suffering, unless you reach enlightenment; only then will you ultimately die, and therefore suffering ends. The plan is dying for real, like if life was a mistake.

One of the most powerful things about Kashmiri Shaivism is this: Shiva is not just a distant deity to be worshipped, He is the very essence of the entire universe. From the smallest blade of grass to every living being, everything that exists is nothing but His manifestation.

Vedic religion added Buddha as 9th Vishnu avatar to attract Buddhists. Buddhism incorporated Hindu gods into Dharmapalas to attract Hindus. Jainism accepted Hindu deities to attract Hindus. Shaivism refused. It stayed strict with Shiva only, no borrowed deities. Even Saiva clashed violently with other religions. Shaivas never compromised dharma for popularity. Har Har Mahadev 🙏🔱

Hard for many to accept, but Jain version of Ramayana was composed in medieval Times to prevent Jain laymen defecting to Hinduism due to popularity of epics.

Esotericism, historically, was never so much about being "weird" or "fringe" or "schizo" as it was about exploring the infinite depths concealed in the normal, the orthodox, the every day.

Toda reconversión es dolorosa, pero ninguna empresa pone las reglas del juego. No hemos despedido a 1 sola persona.

@HongZhou1110308 Mind. But ultimately, like in Buddhism, the doctrine is not neccedary ones we abide in our nature. I will also be always impressed by how Gautama had such critical thinking in his context, regarding casteism and blind religion

@HongZhou1110308 Yes. I also don’t think one can approach this like Christianity in the sense, there isn’t really a fixed canon of texts on needs to be brainwashed to believe. At least in Tantrik. Surpridingly , i find it way more rational. Abhinavagupta says all this doctrines are just for the

After posting this I feel bad. I should block more Neo-hindus and hindus so I don't have to come across thier feeds and then have to unwillingly post their scriptures. My life is going well reading my own dhamma. Have No interest in exposing hinduism. But they don't learn.

Shruti literature, Satapatha Brahmana 14.1.1.31 says:- Woman, the Sûdra, the dog, and the black bird (the crow), are untruth: he should not look at these, lest he should mingle excellence and sin, light and darkness, truth and untruth.

@HongZhou1110308 Yes. I guess what matters it’s the core teaching. Human have written this texts, that’s obvious. I don’t really accept all of it, but some of the texts I have found I fully align with, which makes me feel happy.

@AniccaVada Though I found casteism even it while exploring. Like in Mahanirvana Tantra. But non duality broader teachings are great. You would know, how actually scriptures of Hinduism & Buddhism have elements of sexism. But Tantrayana makes woman as human & godess. Higher.

@AniccaVada Oh tantrik. C'mon that's different aspects all together. I have never criticised tantrik. Both Hinduism and Buddhism and Bon have shared tradition in it. (With a different interpretations) I never bring up Tantrayana because it's teachings are really good but not for me.

@AniccaVada Anyway you're right hinduism is diverse and has many great teachings too. I'd be breaking my precepts if I disagree with it. Infact I don't care about casteism. As you can see hindu misinterpret gita and show it as non-castiest. I welcome it. Problem is slandering buddha.
