A founder wanted a full memecoin website. Here's the approach I used to build the hero section: Started with research, went through Web3 landing pages, meme coin sites, mascot brands and I Absorbed what works. Then started with Illustrator to prep all my visual assets. Duck mascot, ripples, backgrounds. Everything clean and scalable before heading to Figma. The build was simple: clear headline, strong CTA, mascot breaking out of the layout. That's what stops people from scrolling. The goal wasn't just "make it look cool" it was to aid engagement, clarity & brand identity strong enough that whenever you land on the website, you immediately feel the culture of the meme. The duck IS the brand. That energy shows in every element. Next step: taking this to Framer for the full development . Stay tuned 🦆💻 Hire me for your next project

When I started out, I thought just being good at design was enough. Turns out there’s a lot they don’t tell you. I should have started posting my work earlier All those designs I did when I first started? I kept them to myself. Thought I needed to be “good enough” first. Which was a big mistake. Posting your work gets you exposure, feedback, and opportunities you didn’t even know existed. Even if it’s not perfect, put it out there. Also, know when to stop working for free. Building in public is smart when you’re starting out. It gets eyes on your work. But some people will see that and try to exploit it. asking for “quick favors” Learn to recognize when exposure stops being valuable and starts being exploitation. Another valuable thing to note is that, Your personality matters more than your portfolio. People hire people they like. Two designers with similar portfolios but they’ll pick the one they enjoyed talking to. Be easy to work with& Communicate clearly. I’m still learning all of this but if I’d known these things earlier, I would’ve moved faster.

@AnicryptDesigns You're absolutely right, I had that feeling of hiding my work when I started because I thought I wasn't good enough. But I guess we learn as we grow

@AnicryptDesigns No, the designs it’s producing are still subpar, and the design system features isn’t that impressive tbh

playing around with midjourney v8 i need to spend more time with it, but on first look it feels like it’s pushing much more toward realism. so far, i can’t get anything decent on the abstract side and hoping there’s a workaround. there are already much better models for photorealism (really liking recraft at the moment), and i’ve always appreciated midjourney for more artistic directions. few quick results below
