In your waiting period, what do you do? I remember when my closest wing man moved to Hong-Kong , it was a really tough time in my life. But it was difficult to show it. Someone you slept and woke up with, don finally escape. You know, at a point, when you are in Nigeria chasing the dream, you’ll always wonder if it’s possible. If the dreams are valid. And then, your guy finally travels. It NOW looks very possible. Now, not just your guy. Your very close guy. Was the one that permanently moved. In the midst of this, a lot of negative thoughts will also cross your mind. You know we hear things like, “it’s only 1 in 6 of them that will chop from football.” Then, that 1 moves. You think the door has closed. 🤣 A lot of mental battles. “Maybe, I am just wasting my time”. One thing was for sure, I was happy for my guy and I kept believing in my dreams. Even after one year, and my guy sent home jerseys. I happily wore them everywhere and they were emblems of strength and determination. For me to never give up. What do you do in your waiting period? Keep grinding and believing. I wish you all the best in your waiting period. ❤️ 💡
