Getting more accustomed to mixing references has made a day and night difference in speed and consistency lately #b3d #indie_anime

@zenyywya roughly! I often retime stuff way after being done with the reference, and other times adjust the reference timings long before blocking, mostly depends on how well I understand the motions beforehand

@AnimSebs when you do your blocking pass do you base the timings on the reference?

alright gonna be real on main for a sec This is THE project for which I started 3D all those years ago, "just my OC being badass with a scythe" is not allat on its own I know but being decent enough to finally bring it all together and then doing so has been quite the journey

Absolutely 0 idea what I'm gonna do next but for now I am gonna indulge in every piece of media I've skipped on for the past few months, Madoka's first on that list so uhhh yeah goodbye for now

Bottom line the biggest lesson I learned from this was to just sit down and do the work 💀 even when I got bored to death of it, and boy was I procrastinating on it for YEARS
