On April 20th we attended the @Battersea_ Greek partners reception at the UK Ambassador’s residence in Athens, where we met the UK Ambassador to Greece, Matthew Lodge. It was great to spend time with partners working towards better welfare for animals across Greece 🇬🇷

On Tues 28th, our Ops Manager Sophia attended the 20th anniversary conference of @animawild on behalf of Animal Action Greece. We’ve worked together for years, so it was special to celebrate their incredible work protecting wildlife across Greece. Inspiring and well deserved 💚

Since 2017, our work on Syros with Manos Vorrisis has helped sterilise 1,500 stray cats. Now on Tinos, 400 cats have been sterilised so far, with a target of 1,200 by 2026. “Partnership built on shared values: love for animals, love for Greece, professionalism and action.” 💚

We were proud to present the Paros and Antiparos team with a certificate of appreciation for their incredible work on the Community Cat Care Project. Flora, Dina, Susie and Eleni have given so much to ensure the project runs smoothly. We are eternally grateful 💚

This week, we’re in Kilkis, on the northern border of Greece, for phase 3 of the refugee camp project with @GGCEurope, helping to sterilise and treat as many stray animals in the local area as possible. Fingers crossed for a successful week! 💚

A lot of our work focuses on neutering. But why? Because without it, the cycle never ends. One unneutered cat can lead to hundreds more, bringing more suffering . Neutering stops that cycle. It gives cats a healthier, safer life. Real change starts with prevention.

On 3rd April, ahead of World Stray Animal Day, our Animal Welfare Manager Serafina visited a nursery in Peristeri with her rescue dog Masticha 🐶 Teaching kindness, safe dog interaction, and what animals need to thrive 💚 Because change starts with the next generation 🐾

In just 2.5 months, 37 dogs were sterilised in Argos through our collaboration with Laiza Strays 🐶 Pictured below are just a few of them. We hope to continue our work in Argos to help even more stray dogs.
