Israel’s war isn’t just affecting us as a people in Gaza, it’s a war on every living and breathing thing in the Gaza Strip. Our people, our land and water, our entire environment, our homes, our animals and birds, our ocean, our memories, our streets and favorite places and everything that we love about Gaza. It’s affecting our physical and mental health. We are really suffering and I wish someone would stop this genocide.
All those people you see who were forcibly displaced and had to walk for 5 or more hours to go south and leave their homes behind are suffering. Some of them are elders who couldn’t walk, and have already witnessed the ethnic cleansing during the 1948 Nakba, and were forcibly expelled from their homes in northern Palestine to Gaza. This is a genocide. This is ethnic cleansing. We deserve a better life. Ceasefire now

Staying alive is more stressful than dying.
At least when you die you will not feel a thing.
We never had a choice, and when we do it’s about choosing to stay and die or leave and lose everything you worked for.
Most Palestinians born to be one of those things: A martyr, a prisoner, detained or living with a big suffer.
I wish to be the guy who will graduate, look for a job and travel
All what sounds normal for the world is weird for us
But this how it sounds when you live under occupation
Btw I been listening to Hall of Fame song since 2016 and keep imagining my life with the song
Like standing on a stage after wining the best around all over the world
I’m a photographer who wanted to capture the beauty my eyes see not the genocide happening to my people

Dear my people
I am very sorry for filming you in these circumstances and very sad for documenting this tragedy and showing you in your most difficult times.
I also want to tell you that when I saw you leaving the city behind, Gaza the city of love and war I wished to not be born to see this happening to us.
Thank you for the love you are showing to me and respect
I really hope to be a reason to stop this war
