@VoidWalkerZero @Manga_Kamen Actually considering demons are formed from concepts and Sparda was always a knight. I think it was that his developing code of honor became a sense of justice and morality as it solidified.

@Manga_Kamen y'know, DMC1's opening says Sparda "woke up to justice" whatever the hell that's supposed to mean. But thinking about it, what if that was just him pondering why human essence was making demons more powerful, and deciding to try a different route and going "oh this is BETTER!"

Ya know, one thing that I love about DMC is that despite a lot of the villains being human, they give up their humanity and it's their downfall. And the scene that best exemplifies this is... Do your Homework first.

@DevilMaeCat Honestly I think she'd be a good edition to the games as the purely human grounding figure of Dante's group. The one that doesn't deal with either underworld that serves as an example of what Dante is fighting to protect. Kyrie serves as that figure for Nero's group.

I still think some of Dante's dialog with her was weird in the 2007 anime. But I'm glad that she was there for Dante when he really needed a new focus rather than drowning in depression. I don't think we'll see her again and I hope we don't because she deserves a normal life

@ekkonus It's not that he doesn't want to celebrate it with her he just isn't comfortable dealing with normal people especially since if there's a devil around he can't ensure he could protect everyone at an event like that.

@rockingrcks That was never a side of the Fandom I ever interacted with. The most I saw were people talking about how they enjoy the father figure dynamic of him and Patty with her being the entirely human side of his life. I enjoy how she grounds him also her and nero meeting would be great.

the fandom's interpretation of patty as Dante’s daughter undermines Patty's own mother's efforts on protecting her. I also don't like how the fandom pushes for Patty to grow up as a demon hunter when Dante literally tells her to live her life to the fullest with her mom

@vergiIant You want my take on it based on all the lore on Devils we get in the games. Sparda is a devil formed form the concept of knighthood and through that he developed a code of honor and the pride of a warrior. And as he watched Mundus slaughter humanity it became a sense of justice.

I want to learn more about what happened between him and Sparda and what exactly made Sparda side with humanity after serving Mundus for a long time.

Based on initial online responses, I don't think Pavi is going to get nearly as much hate as Korra did. There was some initial dislike towards her character from the leaks, but most of that disdain for her seems to have died down now. Most people just seem to Pity Pavi at this point. Yeah, people are making jokes but it's really all just highlighting how f'd up her situation is. She's been dealt the worst hand out of any Avatar we've seen so far, so a lot people just seem to feel bad while also being curious about her story. I've seen people from all sides of the fandom giving her a lot more grace than anyone gave Korra. I even seen people saying that even if Pavi fails as an Avatar it's not her fault because as I quote, "LOOK AT THE SH*T SHE HAS TO DEAL WITH!!!" Which, honestly, yeah I don't see how 10 year old could possibly deal with the Apocalypse in an efficient and proper fashion, lol. I know a quite a lot people were concerned that Pavi was going to get hated on like Korra was, but at this point, I think Seven Havens is going to have the unintentional side effect of making Korra Hate worse. If anything this is just going to be another Roku-Aang situation where Pavi barely gets any flak for her mistakes and all the blame gets pushed back onto Korra.
