Just watched the first 8 minutes of the Overlord Movie @AnimeExpo The quality was similar to that of season 3 but more refined. Starts off with a literal bang. Demiurge using 10th Tier magic. Unbelievably excited for this movie!!!

This is legit black clover meets Harry Potter and mashle along with the backstory or Kaiju no 8 and other animes that make these dumb promises that mean nothing to me. I will respect the fights/animation but this was terrible imo. Sorry. Hope u all enjoy without me.

About to watch the first episode of Re: Zero Season 3!!! Will update after finishing it.

The quality is consistent with the past 2 seasons so nothing to worry about there. Considering the amount of dialogue and build up that there was, I assume they're gonna be as faithful with the adaptation as before. It's gonna be an amazing season.

So overall not bad. It's about 75 minutes of setup and 15 minutes of getting into the new stuff. There's a lot of returning characters, some unexpected, quite a few new characters, a literal duet, lots of dialogue and 1 super intense scene.

@SwasAgarwal @ChibiReviews If it's a 90 minute episode 1 then the first episode the general audience gets on crunchyroll will be 90 minutes. If it's a 90 minute premiere then it could just be the first 3/4 episodes back to back which means episode 1 for general audiences will be the standard 23 minutes.

@ChibiReviews I'm not sure if it's a 90 minute episode 1 premiere yet. The email I got from Anime Expo via the crunchyroll statement just says "Crunchyroll is bringing a 90-minute premiere of the highly anticipated Re:ZERO Season 3". So it could just be the first 3 episodes back to back.

For a second I thought I was watching Attack on Titan instead of Mushoku Tensei.

I knew it! Re: Zero Season 3 confirmed for October 2024!!!!!! LFG!!!!!!!
