@TODOROTl It doesn't affect only one person once you put laws in place which require people to refer to someone a certain way. You think an argument over something like this isn't debatable or doesn't make sense, but why do you get to make that claim? We are apes not gods of truth.
English

@TODOROTl I'm not assuming, but can you guarantee that it wouldn't happen? Everything is up for debate and argument. For example, how do political movements happen? It is often through speech(that is often considered offensive by mainstream) and convincing people who don't agree.
English

@TODOROTl That's a dangerous precedent. What would you think if the government was telling you how to speak on something you disagreed with? You're only seeing it from your side. Policies and people's views can be wrong, free speech allows for discourse to learn the truth.
English

@TODOROTl Are you ok with a government that can tell you how to speak? His point is free speech is necessary for a free society to function. It's how people with different opinions communicate. He has also said in interviews he would refer to a student by their preferred pronoun.

@ShaneSpencer79 @peacemakerPete @Cantguardmike If not about the flag, then why protest during the anthem?

@BleacherReport If it's not about the flag, then why choose to protest during the anthem?

Reminded today of what Aaron Rodgers told me over a year ago in a sit down. Rodgers on NFL protests: “It was never about the anthem, it was never about the troops. It was about social equality and racial injustice.” theringer.com/nfl/2018/8/8/1…

@myownbed @YahooFinance @readDanwrite @drewbrees If it aint about the flag/country, why do it during the anthem?
English

@YahooFinance @readDanwrite @drewbrees What's disrespectful to America is people like this acting like protesting is "disrespecting the flag".
English

Highlight: @readdanwrite asks @drewbrees what the star NFL quarterback thinks about "players kneeling again when the NFL season starts."
@drewbrees: “I will never agree with anybody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America or our country.”
