i know this take is harmless and the intention might probably is to inspire more than anything else sadly di na kaya idaan sa puro tiyaga at sakripisyo sa panahon ngayon, while you can offer more than yourself for the national team, without adequate resources and preparation time you're still going nowhere while you're battling everyday because you have to deal with a program that has no plans of sustainability, going back to square one over and over again, undercompensation... where will your sacrifices take you? at the end of the day, mediocrity is still mediocrity.. and unless the program can keep up to the level and quality of the other countries, there is no way back to the glory days - can't even protect a proper succession of roster let alone a sustainable national team program 😬 demand for better, not tolerate because you deserve what you tolerate 🤷♂️

Hopeless case ang Alas Pilipinas. Palit-pangalan lang pero same corrupt system. Kudos to those players who stood up, but sad at the same time to those na gusto lang din maglaro para sa bayan. Sa huli, atleta pa rin ang mga talo. Habang sila, nananatili sa pwesto.

ALAS WOMEN SEA GAMES CORE OUT 🇵🇭🏐 No player from the Alas Pilipinas Women’s 33rd SEA Games roster, except Angel Canino and Amie Provido, will be considered for the 2026 AVC Women’s Cup. The likes of Jia de Guzman and Bella Belen have turned down the invite. #AlasPilipinas #PVL2026 #UAAPSeason88 @spinph

@TakeAimLS @tintmznalways Let’s not forget also that they did not join any major pre-season tournaments like Shakey’s, unlike other schools. And La Salle IS NOT THE FAVORITE TEAM, nor being predicted to win the championship. One last; no one predicted a sweep.

My final 16 for UAAP Season 89: S: Nunag, Reyes, Linog MB: Provido, Del Castillo, Caringal, Ewis OH: Canino, Reterta, M. Santos, EDG, Demain Opp: Laput & Cabradilla/Maganto L: De Leon & Rodriguez 3 setters, reserve ay si Linog para in case lang.

@ateneyueztee A New coach can either be wiseful or not I can see Brianna Ang, Bambam Berayo will battle for ROY

Other teams have accomplished it before, but here are 10 reasons why the 16-0 Run of the DLSU Lady Spikers hits different 💚🏹 1. They entered the season as challengers, not defending champions. 2. This was a young squad — packed with newcomers and without a true “last dance” senior superstar carrying the narrative. 3. The competition was brutal. All except two teams had a legitimate shot at winning the title this season. 4. They rose from adversity. After two frustrating seasons filled with doubts and criticism, they answered everything with dominance. 5. A tougher playoff format. An elimination round sweep no longer has a thrice-to-beat advantage — every stepladder game was sudden death. Top seeds are under more pressure to get it done. 6. They accomplished it in a full, regular UAAP calendar season. 7. The Finals became a spectacle. Nearly 30,000 fans combined watched the two-game series live. 8. They dethroned the reigning champions who were chasing a historic three-peat. 9. Both finalists were at full strength. No major injuries to star players, no “asterisks”. 10. And maybe the biggest reason of all: redemption. From the heartbreak of UAAP Season 76 to finally completing the perfect ending years later. This wasn’t just an undefeated season. It was resilience, redemption, and dominance rolled into one unforgettable championship run. 🏆 #uaapseason88
