@mohitlaws Ok so I would like you to know that before the 1960s the army service was only for 6 years and a percent of the soldiers were permanently recruited. The angniveer scheme is basically the same just shortening the 6 year period to 4 years and giving 10 lakhs to soldiers on retireme

No one wants to join the army just for a 4-year service. Even those who are joining don't have the same passion as before. The Agniveer scheme has ruined Indian army. Now people prefer joining the police over the army.
