In modern terms, Nandram’s control can be described like this: He ruled areas corresponding to present-day Hathras, Etah, western Mathura, parts of Agra (Kandholi), and Aligarh districts in Uttar Pradesh.

Let’s talk about the legend, Fauzdar Nandram less remembered among the Jats of Braj, yet a warrior who truly stands out. Veer Nandram Thenua, a descendant of Makhan Singh, succeeded his father in 1645 and soon defied the Mughals by refusing taxes and attacking their posts. He

Many rajputs of jammu hills who call themselves dogras are actually Kashmiri brahmins who later associated themselves to rajput identity like in kishtewar it is normal for KPs and rajputs to marry
Takk@Panchaap_

Interesting, Dogra Rajputs of Jammu are genetically more closer to Kashmiri Pandits, Punjabi Kashmiris of Pakistan, avg Punjabi Hindus, Punjabi Khatris, Punjabi Brahmins, Punjabi Tarkhans & Punjabi Muslim Jatts than to their Pahadi Rajput counterparts & Rajasthan Rajputs.

Inside me, there are two wolves: > A Jat Zamindar wolf who supports every kind of freedom, liberty, feminism, etc., for girls of other castes. > A Jat Singh wolf who demands a proper “Kulvanti Naar” type traits in my own caste girls.

This guy @JohalS20 has nothing to contribute other than the filth in his mind. Since he believes only in groveling before his Khatri masters, he could perhaps listen to Professor Surinder Jodhka discussing his study of Jats of Haryana. Professor Jodhka explains how Jats settled Haryana and made it livable and also highlights their free spirit and lack of religiosity.

@BlueBlistering Good thing they moved out of hryana to doaba and initiated into Sikhi, I would suggest you do same as a Hindu jat, bman had manipulated you guys for centuries. Apart from consuming cow discharge matter, in some cases making jats eat from floor🤮. Making you guys feel worthless.

Anthropological research conducted in the Jullundur Doab mentions Sahota Jats settling Gardhiwala and Vilayatpur around 1443, approximately 30 generations ago. It is plausible that Barapind was settled earlier, with the clan later expanding to establish Gardhiwala and Vilayatpur.

According to the oral traditions of the Sahota Jats of Barapind in Phillaur (Doaba, Punjab), two brothers, Mal and Sohal, migrated from Bharatpur in the Braj region of Rajasthan in the 13th century and established the village, forming pattis and Sahota settlements in the area. A few centuries later, Chaudhary Gulab Singh Sahota rose to prominence within the Dallewalia Misl of the Jats and held large territory in Doaba. He served as the chaudhary, an elected headman chosen by the panchayat of several Sahota pattis around Barapind and Gardhiwala in present-day Hoshiarpur district. Jat settlements in Punjab appear to predate any religious tradition that claims to have facilitated their land acquisition. Evidence from genetics, oral traditions, and colonial-era records points to a consistent pattern of south-to-north migration from the Jat nucleus in the Braj and Jangladesh regions toward Punjab over the past millennium. This pattern is not unique to the Sahotas; several other Jat gots in Doaba such as the Narwals, Leghas, Kandholas and Patars also trace their origins to Haryana and the Bharatpur–Braj belt, reinforcing the broader migration thesis. Similarly, Baidwans, Dhanoa, Siwaich, and Chokker (Chonkar) Jats of the Mohali region point to similar migrations from the Delhi area.

@JohalS20 Why would they buy into fake Khatri stories about “uplifting” Jat ancestors from oppression and granting them land?

A local Jat proverb of Rohtak: “sānthi chaoul, bhains dūdh, ghar kulwanti nār, chauthe tarang ki, bihist nishani char.” Red rice, buffalo milk, a good woman, and a horse to ride — these four are heavenly things. Interestingly, same demanded from the God by Bhagat Dhanna, a Jat.

We find a similar thing in villages of Manjha where Virk Jats even stepped forward and used to protect the honour of daughters their Kammees also. Daughter of a Jatt village whether she be of menial or Jatts was considered an honour of the whole Jatt village.

On the occasion of Jat International Day, A general appeal to Jat youth: Stop writing "Jaat" (जात) The correct spelling is "Jat" (जाट) / "Jatt” (जट्ट) Reference: "Jat Regiment," not "Jaat Regiment." (If you find anyone still writing it incorrectly, please correct them.)

Rajputs today complain that why people are teasing them by calling them the word "Mugualput" which translates to "Son of a Mughal" . But they would wonder that during Mughal period one of their greatest kings Mirza Raja Singh used to proudly refer himself as "Child of (Mughal) Family" and faithful. In his letters to Shah Jahan he had shown utmost submissiveness and flattery of Highest order by referring Shah Jahan as "Sacred" ; "Threshold of the shelter of the world". He claims to have performed the rites of prostration (साष्टांग दंडवत प्रणाम) and slavish compliments (दासवत् चापलूसी) , and Kissing the ground of the threshold with his lips and standing on the place of petitioners (याचक) at the foot of the throne of the Solomon's caliphate. Here Shah Jahan's rule is compared to king Solomon's rule by Mirza Raja Jai Singh who is considered a very powerful and righteous ruler in Islam and the Bible.
