This is just a fake thing spread by Mithila separatists that Bhojpuri doesn't have its own script The original script for Bhojpuri was Kaithi which over time got replaced by Devnagari script just like many other Indian languages got replaced with it However I am not a language supremacist so I won't get into the fight which language is superior and which is inferior For me language is just a medium of communication so Superiority Inferiority etc doesn't make sense to me if one can express properly in that language

If Maithili is not a Bihari language and Maithils are totally different from other Biharis and have no similarity to rest of Bihar Then the separatist maithils (rest maithils ignore this post) should first of all stop celebrating Chhath Puja (which Bhojpuri and Magahi and other Bihari Languages region people celebrate) They should also stop eating Thekua, Pedukiya, Dahi Chura, Tarua, Khaja, Anarsa etc which are also eaten in whole Bihar region (Bhojpuri and Magahi region) Then Maithils like you should stop using the words which are same as in Bhojpuri Stop using "Hum" for I and better switch to "Ami" of Bangla (because separatists maithils like you say you are similar to Bengalis than Biharis and your language is similar to Bangla than Bihari languages) Stop using the sentence structures similar to Bhojpuri Bhojpuri - Hum Ghar jaa rahal bani Maithili - Hum Ghar jaa rahal chhi Bhojpuri - Laika Sut Gayil Maithil - Laika Sut Gail Better switch to bangla sentence structures Stop using bhojpuri words in Maithili for example Laika for boy Laiki for girl Tarkari for cooked vegetable Bhaat for rice Kekar for whose Tohar for your Hamar for my Kawan for which Baitha for sit Etc etc
