In fact, it was Semenya who should have trained harder. While Sharp was world class & should have won an Olympic medal, Semenya was slower than 3,800 in his sex class, male. 👇The Rio men’s 800m winner ran 1:42 - some 13 secs faster.

The 50-60 male DSD athletes in world athletics that have stolen (yes stolen, because it’s cheating) medals (& whole livelihoods) from female over the last 20 years is primarily down to the @iocmedia removing sex screening in 2000 against the wishes of 80% of female athletes when they were asked/polled. Why even bother to ask? Their utter contempt for fair woman’s sport is truly reprehensible misogyny.

The philosophy that we hold dear in World Athletics is the protection and the promotion of the integrity of women's sport. It is really important in a sport that is permanently trying to attract more women that they enter a sport believing there is no biological glass ceiling. The test to confirm biological sex is a very important step in ensuring this is the case.

@itvnews Are you kidding with this ‘news’ item? This man knowingly took part in the female competition. Boxing is a dangerous sport anyway which is why there are weight divisions. What about the danger (physically & psychologically) he as a man posed to those women? Doesn’t that count?

Our beloved Maxwell has gone to sleep forever. He was nearly 16. We were all there and he felt our touch and love as he slipped away. Right now as a family we feel broken but we were so lucky to have found him in this universe. He was a gentle, sweet and special soul and he will be with us forever. He changed all our lives. He gave us so much love. He loved me more than I could possibly deserve. Rest well my beautiful beautiful boy. x
