Sports in Kansas 2025 5A Girls 🏀 Player of the Year: Anna Becker of Seaman. Becker is one of the most consistent players in Kansas since she has been in high school as a four time 5A all state selection. The Drake signed goes out as a Top 5 all classes player from Sports in Kansas and the 2025 SIK 5A Player of the Year. She was her conferences player of the year in three consecutive years for the UKC and also the conference newcomer of the year in the Centennial League before leaving for the new conference. Becker is also a standout in soccer. She led her team to a state basketball title in 2024 and runner up in 2025 in 5A. Her season averages: PPG-16.4, RPG-4.2, SPG-2.0, APG-4.9, BPG-0.9. Her career averages/totals: 1,334 points (School record), 256 steals (School record), 369 assists (School record), 123 assists in a season (School record), 419 rebounds. Overall record the past 4 years: 84-11 (School Record). "A memorable and historic season filled with lots of joy and thrilling wins! I couldn't ask for a better way to finish my career at a school that means so much to me, while playing alongside some of my best friends."
