2 years ago today, Robert White, a graduate of Blair HS, was murdered by MCPD while taking a walk in his Silver Spring neighborhood. He was racially profiled due to “a tear in his clothing”. “ 100+ people gathered in a virtual memorial service on Sunday to celebrate his life.

Please stop sharing the horrendous images of #GeorgeFloyd being murdered. For centuries, dying black bodies have been spectacles displayed to terrorize Black people and to maintain white supremacy. George Floyd deserves to be remembered as the human being he was in this world.

With only 2 hours 2 investigate, MoCo Chief is spinning to protect the cop who killed a man today. Multiple police with guns must learn to de-escalate and/or retreat rather than kill a lone man, most likely with a mental health problem, allegedly carrying a knife. Stop killing!
