Irresponsible Fame A poem by Eric Pellinen Wandering the streets, and occupying buildings filled with a stranger's love and good souls ready to live sinful lives for digital gold that can disappear faster than appearing in the imagination of a creative mind who couldn't build a sandcastle worth destroying Recording small parts of minuscule moments in history worth only witnessing with glazed eyes drugged out to a clear-sighted oblivion with great tunes singing lyrics no one can understand because the poet speaks in tongue that they never learned to use Good hygiene youths seeking one another out ready to get down and dirty without a doubt after finding four wheeled chariots driven by hard working people hardly paying bills to maintain any sense of tolerable residence in a system that only cares about taking away resilience Tough and hard we all seem on the outside yet soft and frail we are actually on the inside feeling free only to accept misery A viral vanity is equal to winning the big lottery as if being cheap to earn an expensive tax bill owed to a corrupt government that's equal to a shill masquerading as a clown's wall street banker Faking the way to the top of meek towers is an irresponsible claim to a fame of an unwarranted sense that's nothing but an overly complicated consequence.
