Such a proud evening for us as coaches!!! In the past we’ve brought in coaches from outside our team/organization for a “practice takeover” so our players continue to hear different voices, ideas and leadership styles. Tonight made us proud on so many levels. One of our longtime players took over tonight’s practice and led her teammates through her practice plan and objectives for the night. She chose having @Rozee03 as her coaching mentor for her Senior Project and has been working on practice planning for our winter practices. She executed a great practice for her @NeCanesSoftball teammates. It was so fun to see a little glimpse into the future as we had hoped so many of our players would grow into future coaches and pay the game forward in the years ahead. @McDanielSoftbal (MD) is getting a kid that already thinks like a coach!!! @NFCAorg get ready to see @AnnaTretton name in coaching ranks in years ahead!
