Hey profs, I’ve set an academic email as an assignment. But I want to add in something fun in the prompt which they still have to write up appropriately. So far I have “dinosaurs attacked and so now I’m homeless” (excuse for being late to a class). Any other ridiculous ideas?
3. I knew I’d have a bunch of photos of slides from conferences on my phone so hey @AnnaVeraMS, @MrJ_ELA and @SallyHumphrey12, you’re gonna be in my class tomorrow!
@jodie__martin Did you find any? Our institution’s slide ‘masters’ are so poorly designed and put together that they’re worse than nothing. Not proper slide masters at all!
I want to set up some new slide masters for my courses before the semester starts as I like to have it cohesive and thematic, and I hate it when inherited slides have funky format. Any tips on where to find good clean designs for teaching?
Andrés Ramírez on semantic waves:
That’s a big idea behind successful teaching. It’s a simple idea but not simplistic.
Re a low semantic flat line:
That teacher is so dynamic, but no knowledge! It’s hands on, but what about knowledge on?!
