I can never forget the time I was ghosted by a client. After delivering 5 BLOG POSTSS. I was so naive and new to the remote working scene. Ah, I cried blood 😭. Today? If there's no contract and down payment, I go nowhere. Now, pause - Do you realize that I could've simply said: "Always sign agreements and request a down payment before working for clients" Both carry the same message. But one got you more invested than the other. 📌 That's the power of storytelling.
