@GregAbbott_TX Governor, there just isn’t time in our day to teach anything that isn’t a tested TEK. Please, please site your sources for this “agenda” you are fighting against, because every single Texas teacher I know is just trying to get their students through STAAR.

Schools shouldn’t push woke agendas – period. That’s why I signed laws to remove woke politics from Texas classrooms. In Texas, we’re getting kids back to the basics of learning.

@GregAbbott_TX As a public school teacher in Texas, I’d like to see an example of this curriculum, can you please cite your sources? No classroom I’ve been in is indoctrinating anyone. We’re too busy teaching to the TEKS.

We will not use Texas taxpayer dollars to teach our children to hate our country.  This session, we will remove woke agendas from the classroom and get kids back to the basics of learning.
