I'm a big believer in short pauses - taking a moment to clear energy and prepare for what's next. For more on how even 30 seconds can make a big difference, check out my new LinkedIn post. The first in a 3-part series on CEO Survival Skills. linkedin.com/pulse/survival…

I’m also excited about my own “what’s next,” which will be supporting nonprofit leadership in a much different way – as an executive leadership coach. I’ve always experienced my own leadership as a sort of adventure, and it feels amazing to support other leaders in theirs. 4 of 4

...as they worked to create strong, high-functioning, and purpose-driven boards. I am better for the time I spent in partnership with you all. And I’m deeply appreciative. 3 of 4

Today is my last day as @BoardSource’s CEO. It has been an amazing ride, & I’m enormously proud of who we’ve become as an org. And – even more so – I know greater & better things are ahead under the leadership of @Monikakv & the incredible BoardSource board and staff team. 1 of 4

Huge thanks to @rhymes_for_good for the tribute poem they created in partnership with the @BoardSource team. It was incredible and so kind of you. (p.s. if you don't know @rhymes_for_good, I recommend following for some nonprofit sector wisdom wrapped in mirth)

Yesterday, the Department of the Interior released part 1 of a report on the history & trauma of Indian Boarding Schools. The NP sector played a role in those schools and needs to be a part of the healing. Read more in this @BoardSource blog from November. bit.ly/3wiePEJ
