@Anne_world001 Oh definitely syfy. I have a library of books from Iain Banks, CY Cherryh, Elizabeth Bear, John Wright, Peter Watts, Linda Nagata, William Gibson and so many more. I need to lay down a "world view" foundation and some sort of angle that's new and different.

@Tetrametracall1 That’s a great foundation you clearly think in big sci-fi ideas. From what you shared earlier, your writing already has that philosophical edge (time, perception, consciousness). That alone feels like a strong “world view” starting point.

@Anne_world001 Thank you, Anne. I've always wanted to write a novel, but thought writing dialog would be so difficult, yet all of us has dialog running 24/7 in our minds. All we have to do is focus the topic. ☺️

@Tetrametracall1 That’s actually such a powerful way to look at it.The dialogue is already there, it’s just about tuning into it and shaping it.And honestly, with the kind of imagery and depth you already have in your poetry, I feel like your characters’ voices would come through really naturally

@Tetrametracall1 This is haunting in the best way. The idea of memories existing before they happen is so unsettling it really pulls you into that distorted sense of time. And the imagery of bodies “planted like carrots” but still waving… that stuck with me.
