Today is World Mental Health Day. At RCGP, we recognise the vital role that GPs play in supporting mental wellbeing.

He's already stated his intention to permanently prevent trans young people accessing puberty blockers at the time they actually need them. Including making no provision for continuity of care for anyone already taking them.

Wes Streeting tells Parliament that despite intending to implement the Cass review in full, he wants the trans community to know he intends to have a very different relationship with the their community than the previous government. He says he understands their struggles.

@Anneindevon If we all abandon the party and leave the transphobic voices to roam freely within Government, we'd be in a much worse position. I'll always work hard from within the organisation to facilitate and give a loudspeaker to trans and non-binary voices in need of our support.

I've joined many of my colleagues in support of my trans and non-binary friends. Trans healthcare is a medical not political issue, and political interference is abhorrent. LGBT+ suicide skyrocketed under Section 28, and this is the first step back to that. This will kill kids.
