As someone who takes criticism REALLY personally no matter how hard I try, (thanks Catholicism) decided I needed to step out of my comfort zone to ask for direct feedback from my teams for my PDR this year 1st one back said I was “kind” so nothing else really matters does it ❤️

The therapy team on C8 hosted an upper limb activity group making their own instruments. As this is a difficult time for our patients as they are having no visitors we are asking for donations for musical instruments. Any support is welcome :) Thank you!

Patients absolutely loved this therapy session, any donations of tambourines, maracas, triangles etc would be gratefully received 🎶

Today a stroke patient with aphasia, dysarthria AND apraxia was able to say "hello, how are you?" during our session, and she couldnt stop laughing & clapping her hands (neither could the rest of the staff on the ward). This is why I love my job! ❤ #mySLTday #itsthelittlethings
