tested my own product today told Nexra I'm building a Notion alternative for solo founders it said: "You're building on hope, not demand." then: "What exact problem can you describe so clearly that a solo founder feels they can't live without your tool?"

Learned today: Most founders don't have a product problem. They have a demand problem they've mistaken for a product problem.

Day 62 of my “One Website Every Day” challenge 🚀 Live website link: glow-hit.vercel.app Today, I built Glow Hit — an interactive web experiment where every click creates a glowing visual impact. The idea was to make simple interactions feel energetic, responsive, and visually satisfying. Goal of the project: To explore how light, color, and motion can enhance user interaction and make even the smallest actions feel engaging. Tech stack used: React.js, HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. What I learned today: This project taught me how visual feedback like glow effects and transitions can dramatically improve user experience. Even minimal interactions can feel premium with the right touch of motion and design. Challenges faced: One challenge was maintaining smooth glow animations during rapid clicks without causing performance drops. Debugging animation stacking and event handling helped me better understand how to optimize continuous interactions. Anything special about today’s build: This one feels very satisfying to use. It’s simple, but the glow effect makes every interaction feel alive — a reminder that small details create big impact. @DhruvJain08 That's a sharp way to frame it, I'm still refining that one-line pain, and honestly, that's exactly why I'm building Nexra, to force that clarity before building anything blindly.

This hit hard because I asked myself the same question about what I'm building. My answer: "People who post on LinkedIn using AI tools get caught because every output sounds the same. They need something that actually writes like them, not like a generic template." The test: can you describe the pain in one sentence and have the person nod before you finish? If you need a paragraph to explain why someone needs your tool, you're probably building on hope. If they interrupt you to say "yeah that's exactly my problem" you're building on demand. Love that you're stress testing your own idea with your own product. That takes real honesty.
