Those who know me know how far I can go for what I believe in. I, Serah Ibrahim organized PVC drives round the country in every State in Nigeria, I was there with my team. We registered 1,252,081 new voters in the last election in short space of time and transferred about 300,000 of that number. All names and information still in tact for continuous voters education. Not paid by anyone, funded by ourselves just as our own task for this new Nigeria. We walked into offices to transfer PVCs, into schools, universities, NYSC Camps, Churches, Mosques, we even almost entered a popular babalawo shrine when we heard it had many visitors just so we can preach this new Nigeria message. I, Serah Ibrahim raised the alarm about people from Niger Republic getting PVC, reported it in Yobe when we were registering new voters, the media carried it, and later confirmed to be true, that tweet is still available till today, you can GO AND VERIFY. I, Serah Ibrahim was attacked by bandits in Zamfara during our PVC Drive and we dispersed and got to around Gidan Yerima in Zamfara, the policemen protected us and allowed us to spend the night there since it was late and advised we leave in the morning. Guess what our coconut head did the next day, we went back to continue our registration all around, until we got to Tudun Wada. They called us mad. I, Serah Ibrahim on the day of election was in a State even criminals dread to go. Even had an accident and I still limped into the most hinterlands of any hinterland even those in the hinterlands have ever seen. People there have NEVER had electricity before, not even clean water. I stayed in Borno to enlighten voters for weeks before the election, was an official observer in 2 different polling unit with almost 5,000 registered voters, which we ensured was won including Bolori, was on my way to observe at the Monday Market in Borno, the biggest market in the state, when we were informed it was on fire, with speculations that it was burnt because a candidate the establishment wanted did not win, and so thugs were sent to destroy the votes, that market kept burning for 4 days straight. I still have the videos I could make on the third day and even posted it here. We were able to recover votes we could from that market and we were still leading. I also ensured my observers were in attendance in my own polling unit in my home town. The agent was my cousin, wanted her there and made sure she was. The Polling Unit in my hometown is an APC controlled area with about 1,200 registered voters in that PU, but guess what, with the help of well funded security, I went through heaven and hell to make sure we beat APC there black and blue, because I know their candidate has nothing to offer Nigerians which we can all see today. They didn’t even get half of my vote on my father’s street. I ensured my estate where I live was heavily manned and again, with agents from my team, observers from my team, Infact again, the agent was my neighbour, whom I used to replace my name after I decided to enter Borno to work, and again black and blue with the help of the already enlightened voters. That is 4 different polling units with high registered voters in 3 DIFFERENT GEOPOLITICAL ZONES and that was the very first time in my life that I was voting or involved. No chochocho, evidence, hardwork and “doings” to ensure wins. Those who know me know that I drink challenges for breakfast. Winning a PU is easy, try packing up a bag and go to win a PU in Borno or in a village in the North Central as a brand new political party of 7 months and then come back to talk to me. The reason that was possible was because I had a sellable candidate, I had a candidate I didn’t have to talk too much to convince others about. A man of integrity and capacity.
