Since the last many years, one of the flagship initiatives of Nalanda Academy has been organising the Krantijyoti Savitrimai Phule Education Fair. What makes this effort special is that it is led by Nalanda alumni themselves—an attempt to pay back to the community that shaped their journeys. In the 2023 Education Fair, more than 200 Nalanda alumni came together to guide over 3,000 students and parents who travelled from different villages. For the past 13 years, Nalanda Academy, Wardha has been working to make quality education accessible to students from some of the most marginalized backgrounds in the country. What started in a single hall has today grown into a 9+ acre residential campus — built entirely through the collective support of individuals who believe in the idea of “pay back to the community.” More than 2,300 students from Nalanda are now studying in top universities across India and abroad — and this campus is the next step in that journey. The Academic Block is nearing completion, hostels are taking shape, and we are now moving towards building the Kitchen & Dining facility — a crucial step to make the campus fully residential by October 2026. This is not just construction. This is institution building — powered by people.
