The majority of the people say they pronounce it “cran”. 🤯 Some even said they know people who pronounce it “crown”. 😳 Only five people pronounced it “crayon”. What is happening in this world? 😂 It’s literally made by Crayola - it is “Cray-on”! I’ve never heard it pronounced anything different. Have you ever heard of this? Is it a section of the country that pronounces it wrong? How do you pronounce it?

nah the only reason python becme successful is because ML/AI took off, and even so most samples i see look uglier than PHP (which basically hasn't evolved much in 20 years) 🤣 I do love C# ..but currently workin with python 3.14, strict typings ! Typescript is nice, but just eye candy (like python's)

You can't blame anyone else for the "loss of British culture" when you don't listen to British music created this millennium, don't go to gigs, don't watch British films, don't support arts funding, don't order eels when you have a takeaway and insist you don't watch the BBC.

I have never understood the Eastern and Northern European mindset of going on vacation during summer. When your city is 75 degrees and beautiful and everything is available, you go to Greece and pay $300 a day to turn yourself into a lobster. Instead of just... going in November. You know, when your city is 40 and dreary and grey with 4 hours of "sun "a day. And Greece is 75 and you get a private beach. Make it make sense.

UI peaked here, unironically. Everything was so easy to read, even on low resolution monitors. Sure, it wasn't stable enough, and the search function (before they ruined it) is nice to have, but they really just focused on usability with the graphic design of Win2000.

Here's one example of how utterly insane British planning and building is: this is a tube station 35 minutes away from the City of London, the financial capital of Europe. Most of the surrounding land is farms and empty fields.

🇨🇳 China is now running trams without rails. Just virtual guidance systems on normal roads. The vehicle can carry 500 passengers and reach speeds of 70 km/h. China is already testing the next version of urban transport. Meanwhile the U.S. is still arguing over whether trains should even exist. Hopefully Trump sees this and decides America should start building futuristic infrastructure again instead of just talking about it.
