If my trails tweets got any traction and i was asked about my opinions on kevin after chapter 7 i would probably get lynched

I feel validated that people hate GIMP now. Like 10 years ago in the 2010s everybody would recommend it like it's the best software ever, but when I tried it I found the UI insanely shit & confusing to work with. I quickly went back to paint .net and I still use it to this day.

@shizunaisbest The remake definitely is better balanced but the (visual) presentation is completely different Not inherently better or worse (imo) but completely different from FC The excecution of how the game was originally imagined is part of the series and its charm

I mean it objectively is though its not just about the graphics the gameplay is a lot more streamlined and fun not saying og sky fc isn't fun but the remake is funner besides the translation issues and it way more replayable and it had some of the best side quests in the series

tbh i dont think someone thinking sky is the best arc overall means mean that they think the rest of the series is downhill from there or that it necessarily doesnt peak elsewhere

@SeaWereWolf3 they shouldve significantly reduced Act1s length and removed a bunch of the sidequests, it really ups the bloat and messes with the pacing imo

Horizon is good and all but damn, this game is padded like a fuckton, you got 4spgs and then grim garten and then the main story and then the connect event, which they throw at you all at once, like I feel like there is TOO many stuff to do
