This is exactly how many race massacres occurred here in America. A Black person was accused of a crime they actually didn’t commit then white folks in that town or city would go on a rampage burning down Black Americans property and killing them.
Etan Nechin@Etanetan23

After ministers falsely claimed a settler died in a car terror attack — despite it being investigated as car accident — settlers are now burning Palestinian homes in Silat ad-Dhahr in the West Bank and attempting to burn families alive.

@NewPerspectives I’m sure you’re small cell of anarchists are REALLY putting in the work of overthrowing capital. Maybe one more spontaneous horizontal uprising will do it this time.

It's always funny when MLs have to defend themselves for being in DSA to their online ML friends, instead of feeling proud to be in DSA. DSA is good; you don’t need to defend it to the terminally online who aren’t organizing because they've found a party they consider pure enough
NOT Potato Bolshevik@NotPotBol

So as some people know I am in the DSA, and have been for a while. I am still an ML, and the DSA is not an ML party. So I want to explain my rationale for why I am in it. If you disagree then feel free to share. I would love some sort of conversation on strategy for US socialists

@Anphoria The DSA kills revolutionary potential, you do not genuinely believe you're working to change the system do you? Making a better life for Americans is not destroying market systems, the global capitalist order, cannot be reformed.

@jpforlou You cannot have an organization the size of DSA and operate under a consensus model; it’s just logistically impossible, and nothing would ever get done in this organization. It’s one of the many reasons the Occupy Movement collapsed in on itself.

heyyy ML I saw your tweet about how DSA is trash and I just wanted to let you know that I agree. although I myself am in DSA, (I know, ugh) I am on your side.”one of the good ones” as some may say. btw I never even noticed how fat your boobies are till now but they’re awesome.

This is wrong, but also why deliberation, comradely debate and healthy structures must be non-negotiable in DSA. The minority position must be fairly heard & they must have a path to the majority position through organizing and persuasion
Brandon West (@brandonwestnyc.bsky.social)@brandonwestnyc

If your org or group is multi-tendency, then you need to move with some form of consensus process. If you don't want to use consensus, then you need to stop being multi-tendency. You can't have it both ways.

@Rozegod13 She had a decently organized grown game, but she had to materialize it out of thin air instead of having that connections already there.

@Anphoria Which, to be fair, is larger coalition than who is in DSA. But if you're not organized, it doesn't matter how big your coalition is.

I don’t see why Kat Abughazaleh was seen as a serious candidate, except for being a peer in left media. She moved to Chicago a year ago, lacked district connections, ran horribly, and sucked up the attention that could’ve gone to other left candidates with stronger Chicago roots.

She performed better than expected for a candidate with such limited ties to the district and still secured second place over a well-connected state senator who outspent her significantly (AIPAC), but there were serious flaws in her campaign that should be analyzed for next time.
