@Sbstn5 @Footballtweet I know. But the fact Canadians would have the audacity to make fun of Italy being a country that celebrates wins over Jamaica, El Salvador, and Guatemala, I find quite odd.
English

@AntCacc14 @Footballtweet You can just watch the video - they didn’t actually take your Italian jersey AND gave you a Canadian one
English

@canmntgav @Footballtweet I’ve witnessed 2 out of the 4 they have won which is 2 more than you will ever see in your lifetime with Canada.

USMNT legend Landon Donovan admits the darkest time of his situational depression was when he went to Cambodia on a solo retreat and smoked some weed that may have been laced with opiates. 😳
He was speaking to Men’s Health magazine.
“That was as an existential threat,” Donovan said in the interview.
“It was drug induced. I hallucinated and when I would open my eyes, I would see frogs and lizards, and worms.”
“When I closed my eyes, my brain was telling me, just go jump off the cliff into the ocean and end it.”
“So I was in this tussle of do I keep my eyes open? Do I close my eyes? Eventually, my brain said, ‘Oh, this is what's going on. Come back to the breath.’ That's what I had practiced so many times in meditation.”
“And that was the exact reason why you meditate so that you see what's all going on. ‘That's not you. You're back here present.’ It saved my life.”
Citing physical and mental exhaustion as the main reasons, Donovan took a brief break from soccer in early 2013.
He traveled 8,000 miles from LA to an island resort off the coast of Cambodia— taking two planes, a three-hour car ride along lunar roads, and a boat to reach his final destination, Song Saa.
Donovan wanted to go somewhere where no one could really knew who he was.
It was a good trip overall that helped him mentally, but he did have some bad incidents like the one he opened up about.

@mark_mcgrath @LangmanVince Well put Mark. There’s a lot of fans like myself appreciate you and the bands talent. Keep doing what you love!
English

@LangmanVince To be honest Vince, I’m grateful for every gig we get, and to everyone who shows up after all of these years!
English

@MatchTalks_ Little does he know but he was a part of the problem. All the talent in the world but couldn’t act accordingly. He’s criticizing Pio who has never been in that situation and was selected first?! Christante shouldn’t even have been on the team but somehow was kicking a penalty.

🚨 Mario Balotelli fires back after Italy miss out on yet another World Cup:
“They blamed me when we crashed out in 2014 — said I was the problem with Italian football. So what’s the excuse now?
I scored Italy’s last World Cup goal nearly 12 years ago, and since then I’ve been watching failure after failure from my couch. FIFA expanded the tournament to 48 teams — almost everyone is going — and we still lost to Bosnia.
People can complain about the system all they want, but the reality is simple: this team has no personality. When it came down to penalties, all I saw were players frozen with fear.
Back in 2014, it was ‘Balotelli’s fault.’ Now? It’s just pure embarrassment.”

@CFBGod69 @WRahin1 @footballitalia They still should have won with 10. It was quite obvious when they realized they could attack, and be effective. Bosnia played with heart. I’ll give them that.
English

@AntCacc14 @WRahin1 @footballitalia You were outplayed the whole game. Your goalie was the only reason you didn’t lose 4-1 look at the stat sheet even before the red card you were dominated

Gianluigi Donnarumma was enraged with the Bosnia and Herzegovina team after Italy’s World Cup play-off defeat and it is now revealed why, as a ball boy stole his penalties cheat sheet.
#Azzurri #Calcio #BIHITA #Donnarumma #Nazionale

English

@CFBGod69 @WRahin1 @footballitalia They were only outplayed because of Gattuso’s stupid game plan to play not to lose rather than play to win. For whatever reason he was nervous about playing in front of 9000 people and opening up the offense which caused them to get lazy which caused them to be a man down.

@Ecnerwal23 I feel like Andy Dufresne in Shawshank crawling these past years through a tunnel of “bad descions” those two have made. Wish it would have happened sooner before they traded Ayo and Coby.

It’s a great day. Congratulations Bulls fans
Shams Charania@ShamsCharania
BREAKING: The Chicago Bulls have dismissed executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley, sources tell ESPN.
English

@CFBGod69 @WRahin1 @footballitalia actually are. Look at that second half when Italy woke up because they had 10. They were able to move the ball better because they changed the game plan. Don’t forget about your gift no call.

English

@AntCacc14 @WRahin1 @footballitalia Dude Bosnia gifted Italy a goal and they were dominating the game even before the red card. Italy is just not good with now and that’s just fact
English

@CFBGod69 @WRahin1 @footballitalia The point I was making was it was a goalkeeper error, like Vasilj. The red card doesn’t happen if Lazyrumma doesn’t half ass it. Bosnia gets credit for playing inspired ball, but Italy for some reason structured their game plan around that, and made Bosnia look better than they
English

@AntCacc14 @WRahin1 @footballitalia Are you nuts man that was a red on bastoni it was a terrible decision. Bosnia out played Italy even before the red. Bosnia struggles with finishing which is also why they didnt beat Austria and win their group
English

@AntCacc14 @footballitalia it's not about 2006 only.. french are inherently jealous of italian football history.. uefa and fifa was founded by the french and they still have massive influence, perhaps there's a connection..
English

@DeadlineDayLive The act was childish and stupid just like penalty kicks are to decide an important match. Get rid of penalties once and for all.

🚨 A Bosnian TV show tracked down Afan Čizmić—the ball boy who STOLE Gianluigi Donnarumma’s penalty cheat sheet during the shootout. 🇧🇦😳
Speaking to FACE TV, he admitted: 🗣️ “I saw something by the towel and knew what it was. I took it and hid it—inside was all the information on our players. Donnarumma noticed straight away and went looking for it, but couldn’t find it.”
The broadcaster now wants to take him to the World Cup as a lucky charm… and honestly, he might deserve it. 😅
