Since 2020 the macro matters more than the halvings. Liquidity drives demand. The macro drives liquidity. And most of the supply in crypto does not come from bitcoin any longer. Halvings are now of secondary importance. Odds are thus high we don't see 4-year cycles any longer.

From a macro-economical point of view, we are in unchartered territory. Different, contradicting forces are in motion at the same time. This hasn't been seen before, at least not in our lifetime. Hard to tell where we headed. #fed #inflation #macroeconomics

1/469 The has been a very fundamental shift at the Federal Reserve. The Fed has flipped decidedly hawkish. Their main worry is not employment, it is inflation. And to fight inflation the Fed has to increase interest rates. Here's a thread about the Fed and crashing markets.
