4 weeks ago we were told my husband Dave has cancer. Today he is having major surgery to remove the cancerous tumors. He will be in intensive care after his operation. I'm so worried about everything. I hope it all goes smoothly and he will be home again with me very soon. 🙏♥️

My husband has his cancer surgery pre- assessment this morning and tomorrow an appointment with his consultant to find out if the cancer has spread. Extremely worrying time for us both and he is still in recovery from the 2 bleeds on his brain. I hope we have a positive outcome🩷

Been to hospital.The consultant confirmed my husband has cancer. He needs a CTscan & MRI to see if it's spread to his liver or lungs then there might be a problem but they're hopeful that isn't the case.Major surgery is planned.He's taking it all in his stride & remains hopeful🤍

My husband had his physio today. 45 minute walk WITHOUT HIS WALKING STICK!! So proud of his progress. He can go out by himself again & get his independence back. We are also dealing with other things too but we appreciate the positives whenever we get them❤️ #strokesurvivor

#StrokeRecovery #LifeAfterAStroke #StrokeSurvivor My husband had his physiotherapist home visit today and they went for a walk round our local park WITHOUT his walking stick!!!! This is MASSIVE!!! I'm SO PROUD of his progress. She said he won't be needing the stick at all soon❤️

We are going for a walk in the sunshine ☀️My husband is recovering really well and is able to walk using his walking stick with confidence. I'm so proud of him❤️ He has been through the mill these past few months but he's getting back to himself again each day🥰 #strokesurvivor

So proud of my husband today. First time walking outside since being discharged. Down the road, across to the barbers for a haircut. Since the two strokes he's suffered at Christmas and then on 28 January and being in hospital for 4 weeks he is getting back to himself again❤️🙏🥰

Just got home from the hospital after visiting my lovely husband💙 He's recovering really well from the 2nd stroke,his speech is normal not slurred.He can eat,drink,feed himself & has not suffered any numbness thankfully. He is receiving physio daily to help his mobility 💙KRO🙏
