@Cparkernba @pmmbasketball Booz is a monster prospect but what he’s doing specifically on offense, will not translate at all. Versus a guy like AJ who in 4-5 yrs will be very developed and nearing 30 PPG range. Boozer will be a great athlete to have and a big asset but not the same tier.

@iam_johnw I mean OTE has 10x the D1/NBA players than any highschool the last 4 yrs. Jasper has been overrated since playing at Link. I do think as a pure shooter tho he will find a strong role. Not as a point guard.

@LoganPAdams Honestly AJs own damn fault for going to a system where there would even be a question who’s the first pick. Versus Boozer playing at Duke in which every big to come out of that system the last decade has underperformed because they look so much better in college.

@LoganPAdams Boozer at 1?! I’m sry but if you put him in the post on an NBA big in 6 months he won’t score. 5,4,3,5,5,3,4 Turnovers his last 7 games. He’s a freak athlete with good instincts and a monster prospect. But to put him over AJ is hilarious. What are we doing mate.

@TheHoopHerald @Eliellis25 @dylan_lutey He’s gonna make a massive jump from freshman-sophomore yr. The system he was is in is genuinely the worst guard system in power 5. No bigs no shooters nothing. This kid is legit and is going to shock everyone.

@matthewwinick I don’t think and this is just my opinion that any shot when it’s tied is comparable to a shot when ur down. Just different emotions when ur life is on the line.

@tyler_rucker @HoopsGuru99 @isaiiahx I was disappointed that there is zero hope of a 3 pt shot in the future. I think if he found that it would open up his entire game but for now I don’t see how he impacts an NBA team offensively. For a heavy duty role player I would prefer Yaxel, Ngongba, Haugh, and Ament.

@HoopsGuru99 @isaiiahx Yep but problem is, that you’re projecting that in an extremely deep class currently. I like Koa a lot. Think there’s some inconsistency with his game on both sides But he’s still very young and I think he’s got an easy path to unlocking some parts of his game that are valuable

@j2dna @tyler_rucker @twills2 Not serviceable in college. Wide wide open the would leave him from the FT line. IDK what happened over the summer that he is now somewhat serviceable but at South Carolina he was not

@SheedinATL When teams gameplan around him he can’t score. With that being said it creates a 4 on 4 for the offense. His catch and shoot combined with release is considerable gravity. 49% whether it’s catch and shoot or not is still all-time lethal. Second round I would bite.

i think Momcilovic discourse presents an interesting case as to how we perceive elite shooters 49% on 14 attempts per 100 posessions seems like an all time shooting prospect, until you realize almost 90% of made shots are assisted, meaning Momcilovic doesn't create his own shots and, needless to say, doesn't have the passing to break down defensive structures with his shooting threat the pull-up 3 is an inherently more valuable and difficult shot; take Kasparas Jakucionis, who last season, he shot just 31.8% from three from Illinois and this year for the Heat he's shooting 41.7% with just a slight volume drop-off that's expected for an NBA rookie the main difference? At Illinois, with Jakucionis running the pick and roll, 63% of his made threes were unassisted. With the Heat, he's basically only shooting c&s threes catch and shoot guys like Momcilovic are often treated as all time shooting prospects because a) their percentages are better due to an easier shot diet and b) it's really their only functional NBA skill, so their shooting ability feels more pronounced
Sheed on the Hawks@SheedinATL

literally every positive trait of Momcilovic is tied to either his spot-up shooting or the low usage role, while everything else is either bad or terrible a hard pass from me

The ranking of players 12-30 in the 2026 NBA Draft Class is as close to impossible as you can get. People could ask: "How can you have Bennett Stirtz in the 20s?", "How can you have Labaron Philon in the late teens?", or "How can you have Cameron Carr/Koa Peat where you have them?" The honest answer is that I don't feel particularly great about it. With this class, I'm not "low" or "out" on players. This is John Wick-level on the impossible task meter!

@LoganPAdams Dang u brought Acuff up from 15 to 6 last month or so. I agree anywhere from 4-10 range. What did you see that jumped him for you?

I think my thing with Acuff is like, obviously the defense is what it is. But on O, I don't think he creates enough seperation on his drives or his dribble moves honestly so that could definitely cap his ceiling as an offensive star like he's projected to be

@PeakRT_ I don’t see many risacher similarities. For one hes 3 inches taller and 4 inches longer wingspan. He moves better laterally, higher release, better guard skills, basically Ament at 19 shows better promise for everything. He’s a consistent 3 away from being an immediate starter.

@anonymous52222 @Eliellis25 He is mentally ill. That’s the reason he ended up going to the SEC and playing games as a 6’0 white unathletic freshman from the middle of nowhere. Anyone mentally sane would not be getting to the same level of success as him.

@Eliellis25 Don't blame him. He should have never been recruited to this level. He was a total fish out of water. He is a Newberry College type player. Mentally he is...well ill. He needs to be checked by a professional. He's got something going on.

After my decision today I am still so grateful for all the support from the fans and people here at USC. I know everything happens for a reason… That’s why I’ve lived by the verse Jeremiah 29:11 and will continue to do that!!! 🙏❤️
