It's hard to think of anything more offensive in the last 4 years than the same Republicans who incited insurrection against American democracy hiding behind calls for "unity." It's actually more offensive than anything Trump has said since the terrorist attack on the Capitol

If a president is not impeached and removed from office for seeking to overthrow the government of the United States in order to remain in power, I don't know what the Framers of the Constitution meant by impeachment.

Given that “Hang Mike Pence!” was a rallying cry for the mob, Republicans should think about what exactly will happen with this movement in the future if not decisively destroyed.

The Republicans who join this attempted coup will be betraying the oath they take on January 3 to uphold the US Constitution.
