We’re not a terrible team (we can beat Real Madrid!) but we’re not particularly good either. We’re careless. And it starts at the top and drips down.

For whatever reason, these players do not have the character for 100% focus on the pitch. We don’t have a captain or senior players that can demand it (as per Henderson, Milner) and we don’t have a manager that can instil it.

The word I’ve used most often to describe LFC this season is “careless”. We had the opportunities yesterday to be 3 or 4 nil up by the 90th minute but we were careless going forward. We let in yet another last minute goal - careless.

All of his analysis is true, but fails to mention that it’s his job to improve things. I could have written all that 🤷🏼‍♂️. The difference is that I’m sat in the Main Stand and not the manager.
