This is the mad rush time of year when founders cram in last-minute fundraising from UK investors who want to benefit from an income tax deduction by making SEIS/EIS investments before April 5th. There's still time to get investment money in before the end of the tax year if you're fast and you're on SeedLegals. Of course New York's removal of state QSBS benefits won't stop founders wanting to create a startup or investors investing. But it adds up as another little thing that will cause people to relocate from New York. Interestingly while most investors know about QSBS, almost nobody knows about Section 1244 loss relief. I love QSBS and I’ve benefited from it tremendously But let’s be real Startup founders are not starting companies because of the tax break I’ll be very sad if it goes away but I don’t believe it will make fewer people start companies

What's special about it is it's complete bullshit from start to end. Replacing phones and PCs. Zero latency on-device AI inference.
