I’d be quite surprised if they add another defenseman. Wouldn’t hurt, but the group is excellent when healthy.
Scoring needs to be the top priority. Add a 30+ scorer and this team takes a big step.

@SensBuzz To be fair, TG pigeon holes him to the 3rd line. All D zone starts. Hardly any PP time. Plays lots of PK and he still gets 20 goals. I think it’s time to move him to a top 6 role consistently. We need the speed and skill in that top 6. He has the talent, just needs the chance

1 - Top 6 goal scoring winger
2 - Trade or Sign a good backup with nhl experience
3 - Maybe add a good 3rd pair D if you want to upgrade on Matinpalo
4 - Have a good conversation with Brady to know about his long term plans in Ottawa

One positive for next season…
If Ullmark can play anything close to the level he did in that series, Ottawa will be sitting comfortably in a playoff spot all year.
Atlantic is still tough but they were so, so good this season. Goaltending killed them until the end.

No idea how it would be possible, but I would do everything possible to bring Robertson in this summer.
The literal perfect fit for what Ottawa needs. They’d probably be up in the series with a scorer like him.

This was a real team that had that dawg in them. Forwards who played hard every night, defense that was impenetrable, goaltending that was elite, and a true superstar captain who played on one foot.
This was the Ottawa Senators that I desperately crave to see again.
