Orban didn’t do a single good thing for Hungary. He didn’t stop migration, he simply forbade the media to talk about it. Meanwhile, immigrants kept coming just like everywhere else. He didn’t improve birth rates, in fact he made them worse. He transformed the country into a puppet regime of Russia ruled by corrupt politicians instead of competent ones. And he turned Hungary into one of the EUs poorest countries while others like Poland become some of the most successful.

My landlord raised my rent $340. I asked why. "Market rate adjustment." I googled my landlord. He owns 34 properties. Manages them through 3 LLCs. Lives in a $1.3 million house. Has never fixed my heating properly. My rent increase is his mortgage payment on preperty number 35. I am not a tenant. I am a revenue stream who gets to sleep here.

I started doing cocaine about 7 or 8 months ago. It started off at festivals with my friends or nightclubs, but I’m now doing it daily for the past 3 weeks or so. I knew from the second I used cocaine that it was my drug of choice. I smoke weed daily, I’ve used MDMA, ketamine, 4MMC and a few others, but none ever clicked with me the same way cocaine did. I work full time and have a good relationship with my family and friends, and I don’t know where this addiction has come from. When I’m not high I don’t crave it, but the second I do a little line or bump, I can’t stop. I’m doing about a gram daily, sometimes more, sometimes less. It’s not really affecting my life too much—I still go to work, I still see my friends and my family, and no one knows about my addiction. My biggest problem is nighttime, where I can’t put down the bag. I work a manual labour job with an early start, so it’s not at all sustainable to be taking cocaine late at night. It’s currently 3am as I’m writing this, and I’m up for work in about 2 hours. I feel like I’m losing control of my life, but at the same time I feel happy throughout the day when I’m not using—but also empty. I don’t even know how to explain it. It’s like one minute I’m inside my head thinking about how much I hate this drug, what it’s doing to me, and how much I want to stop. Then the next minute I’m happy, joking around, full of energy. Then I switch up again and start thinking about railing a fat line when I get home. I don’t know what to do, how to break this addiction, or how to feel about it. I don’t know how to stop justifying it and telling myself every night that it’s my last time, and then going straight back to it the next day. I’m using about a quarter ounce a week, and if I go out to party on the weekend, I’ll easily go through a 3.5 throughout the night. I don’t know what to do. It’s fucking me up, and I’m just stuck in this vicious cycle with no way out.

I agree with Zack Polanski on this - 100%. Hard to understand why it’s not been done already. Years of siege and of civilian murders, the last two years outright war on a civilian population, mass starvation, openly declared intent to Ethnically Cleanse, preliminary findings of Genocide, destruction of 90% of all buildings in Gaza, targeting of hospitals and aid workers - the rap sheet for this disgusting Israeli regime is very long indeed. Now we add that the extension of their anti civilian doctrine - in Lebanon. Already they’ve killed more civilians there than Hamas did on Oct 7th - an atrocity the West rightly railed against. Holy shit! 121 empty oil tankers are now heading to the US. It all makes sense now: Step 1: Invade and steal Venezuela’s oil. Step 2: Start a war with Iran to disrupt the global energy market. Step 3: Barricade the Strait of Hormuz then send empty tankers to the US to buy oil. Trump and the US started a fire so they could then sell the fire extinguishers.

@ProudSocialist I don't think Trump thinks that far ahead. There just happens to a minor positive consequence along with all the negative ones, which, far outweigh the additional revenue the US will receive. He'll probably spend that revenue and more bailing out US companies and allies.
