@Anthony_Chiang Wouldn’t the Heat still be able to trade the drafted player as long as he has not signed his contract?
I recall something similar happening with the Rudy Goebert trade. Wolves drafted Kessler and traded him to the Jazz along with multiple picks.

There’s always a new deadline. And that new deadline for Milwaukee (if draft passes without Giannis trade) could be finding deal before start of next season.
This wouldn’t be ideal for Heat, which can throw in a third first-round pick into trade offer only before next week’s draft.
