I hope civil servants remember the disregard and disrespect of this JLP Gov't the next time they go to the polls.

Imagine big Dec 20th and some civil servants nuh get paid including healthcare professionals. Ja'cans have really gotten soft.....

Can route taxis strike permanently? Traffic flowed smoothly this morning without having to worry about those indiscipline drivers.

@Kemar_A_Brown We should hear the truth about why those persons died because of lack of oxygen.

Some years ago abt 21 premature babies died because their immune systems weren't properly developed to fight off a virus called klebsiella. It was reported that the virus was as a result of the hospitals not being cleaned properly.

In parliament while giving a report then Minister of health made an egregious comment in his description of the babies saying, "they weren't babies in the real sense" there were immediate calls for his resignation.

In my view, the resignation calls had nothing to do with the performance of the minister at the time (because surely it can't expected that the Min should be responsible for the cleaning of hospitals) but as a direct result of his fauxpas.

Nevertheless the Leader of opposition then who is Prime Minister now, made it a complete political football and campaigned hard, "I HEAR THE DEAD BABIES CRYING"! Fast forward to now, it is being reported that 8 persons have died as a result of the oxygen shortage to incl a nurse

Do we not as citizens have the right to:- 1. Call for the resignation of the current Minister as we did in the past? 2. Ask the Prime Minister if he has heard the cries of the people who died as a result of the lack of oxygen?

The saying is true "same knife stick sheep stick goat." Holness has long campaigned on Crime, Health and Education 3 areas which should be exempt from political campaigns and we've seen how he himself and his admin has failed in dealing with them also.

I can only judge a person based on the standards they set for themselves. By this logic, Holness has failed by his own standards which he has set for himself.

I remember a few years ago @DelanoSeiv called on media people to declare their political bias. Time for him to make the call again. Too many pretending to be journalists when they are nothing more than party propagandists.
