The only reason there appears to be a skill difference is because of social constructs. If we could tear down these performed behaviors influenced by family, media, education, peers, laws, everyday action, etc. we would experience an outcome where young boys and girls develop hockey skills at an equal pace. By the time they reach junior/ college hockey there will he equal amounts of women getting drafted the the NHL as men.

I’m perplexed by women’s hockey particularly the hockey IQ Do they not watch film? Do they not watch the NHL? Are they not coached to make the right plays and decisions for their whole career? So many mind boggling plays out there my brain cannot comprehend why they are so bad
