‼️Iran’s missiles could reach almost all of Europe — except Portugal Iran recently attempted to strike the Diego Garcia naval base in the Indian Ocean. The missiles didn’t hit — but the key point is the distance: about 4,000 km from Iran. Until now, Iran’s missile range was believed to be around 2,000 km. Recent events suggest it could be much longer. According to Defense Express, Iran can potentially reach nearly all of Europe — with Portugal as the only exception.

Iran urgently requested military assistance from the Kremlin through secure back channels. Tehran, finding itself under a barrage of American and Israeli missiles, officially activated provisions of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement. The Iranians demanded what is currently impossible: the immediate redeployment of additional S-400 divisions to protect facilities in Natanz, direct transfer of control codes for satellite systems, and most radically, the use of Russian electronic warfare systems from bases in Syria to blind coalition aircraft. Moscow, as usual, retreated into complete denial, blocking any supplies and arguing that the agreement does not предусматривает direct military intervention. The decision was driven less by diplomacy than by a simple lack of resources. All available capacity of the defense industry and air defense systems is currently drained by the war in Ukraine and the protection of Russia’s own rear oil refineries. Getting into a direct confrontation with the Pentagon to save the Iranian ayatollahs, when the stability of Russia’s own defensive line is at stake, was considered suicidal adventurism by the Kremlin. At the same time, Russia is increasingly showing paralysis of will when its allies — even informal ones — find themselves in a deadlock. Refusing to fulfill allied obligations damages the country’s reputation, sending a signal to others that Moscow’s signature on any agreement is no longer worth the paper it is written on.
