@poorlycatdraw It’s ok to be scared, but you don’t need to be. It will be painful at first, so you’ll need to take some painkillers. As long as you do the exercises before and after the surgery then you’ll recover well.

@TomCullen Lady cats wander less, but will still venture out the garden. An older cat might be an option, ours is 19 and can barely be bothered to walk through the door when it’s opened for her.

Thinking about getting a cat. Really like cats. Don’t want it to be a house cat but also (for various reasons) would rather it didn’t leave the garden. Is that completely unachievable? Garden is fenced all around.
